Tropical Medicine and Health
Tropical Medicine and Health is the only journal in the field of tropical medicine in Japan. The journal has been published as an open access online journal by BioMed Central since January 2016 and publishes articles in the areas of medicine and health sciences in the tropics and global health in general.

Publication Fee
The publication fees for papers are as follows (applicable for submissions on January 1, 2024)
Society members (regular members, post-doctoral members, student members) 1,486 Euro
Overseas members (or non-members) 2,117 Euro
Support for the publication fee from the academic society is only available if the responsible author is a member of the society. After your paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to complete the certification process to receive the Society member discount.
The publication fees for responsible authors from low-income countries who submit articles for publication at the following sites will be fully waived or discounted by 50%. Please apply at the time of submission.
